Email Hi, this is [branding_name_full]! We have received your Asurion claim. Be advised that due to current iOS security measures, in order to perform the necessary repair on your device, "Find my iPhone" (FMIP) must be turned off prior to coming in-store. This is necessary to calibrate and provide full functionality to the genuine Apple parts used in your repair. This can be done on your iPhone by going to Settings > Tap [Your Name] > Find My > Tap Find My [Device] > tap to turn it off > Enter your Apple ID password > Tap Turn Off. If you are unable to use your device, but have access to a computer, you can remove FMIP by using iCloud.com. Instructions for this method is linked at the end of this email. Your iPhone MUST be turned off for the "Remove" option is shown. Please power OFF your phone prior to attempting this. Due to this iOS security restriction, if FMIP cannot be deactivated, you will have at least 1 hour additional wait time where you will be needed to disable this setting. We apologize for this inconvenience, but this is beyond our control.
